Nigel Burkitt is a Pga pro of many years having qualified into the profession back in 1978. 

​

Not only has he held numerous club and coaching positions around the UK, his work has also taken him to Mallorca, on-board cruise liners out of the U.S.A to the Caribbean and even a spell on the European Tour with a former Ryder Cup Player.

 

In conjunction, he has written golfing articles for local and regional papers and magazines over a 25-year period.  

Even though he is a long serving Pga member he has never got close to the establishment and its training programs as he likes to formulate his own opinions from his own experiences and observations. 

 

He has retired from the club professional side of the profession  to focus on both coaching and writing as he records the findings of his 48 years in the game before, as he likes to say, the grey matter gives out.
